UV curing for flooring

UV and LED UV curing revolutionise the flooring industry: fast, environmentally friendly and durable

UV and LED UV curing technologies are transforming the flooring industry and offer a rapid curing solution. Traditional methods rely on time-consuming air drying, often causing delays and inconveniences.

UV rays quickly harden coatings, adhesives, and finishes, reducing installation time. LED UV curing, a more energy-efficient alternative, emits less heat and is eco-friendly. These technologies create durable, scratch-resistant surfaces, ensuring long-lasting, low-maintenance floors.

Furthermore, they eliminate harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in some traditional flooring materials, promoting healthier indoor environments. UV and LED UV curing are the future of flooring, offering speed, efficiency, and sustainability for both residential and commercial applications.

In addition, the release of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in conventional floor coverings is avoided, resulting in a healthier indoor climate. UV and LED UV curing are the way forward as they offer speed, efficiency and sustainability for commercial applications.

Substrates and applications

Increase your production with your existing equipment

Our UV systems offer versatile solutions for the flooring industry. SPC, WPC, LVT and similar flooring types are low maintenance, durable and ideal for high traffic areas, while modern products mimic fine wood, stone and ceramic surfaces. The hard-wearing UV-curable coatings can withstand chemicals and stresses, allowing manufacturers to achieve higher production speeds, lower energy consumption and reduced volatile organic compounds. For wood flooring, UV-curable topcoats provide excellent durability and shorter turnaround times, as finished parts can be processed and packaged immediately. Our systems also offer flexible curing options for three-dimensional parts and are particularly effective on resinous pinewoods without the resins reaching the surface.

Classic, flexible PVC flooring can also be produced efficiently with our UV technology. For this purpose, we can equip your existing production line with a width of up to 4 metres with UV LEDs, classic UV units and excimer technology to give your products additional positive product features.

Fine parquet floors lend any room a special elegance. In daily use, however, the surfaces are exposed to numerous stresses - be it from chairs, furniture or constant footfall. These stresses can affect the appearance and durability of the parquet. Thanks to UV lacquers, however, the floor remains permanently protected and retains both its attractive appearance and its pleasant feel, just like on the first day.

Special features and industry expertise

Increase your production with your existing equipment and achieve maximum efficiency with minimum investment.

Our innovative excimer technology sets new standards in the production of endless flooring up to 4 metres wide and enables ground-breaking advances - both for the industry and for retail. Excimer technology with a working width of up to 4 metres is a real game changer in surface finishing: it expands production capacity, opens up new market segments and fundamentally changes the flooring industry. Our in-line excimer systems offer high-performance matting with up to 5 W/cm and guarantee a streak-free, even finish with no visible differences - even with larger widths.
